Hidden away in the Roosevelt's historical Meadow Croft Estate lies Loughlin Vineyard; one of Long Island's best kept secrets. Started by Barney Loughlin and his family 30 years ago, the historical vineyard and winery produces over a 1,000 cases of wine a year from its seven acre crop. Loughlin Vineyard has created some of Long Island's finest tasting red, white and blush wines, sure to compliment anyone's taste

THE VINEYARD

Loughlin Vineyard is the closest vineyard to Manhattan. 

Our hours of operation are as follows:
Saturday & Sunday Year Round
1 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Come and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and feel free to pack a picnic to enjoy in our vineyard.

CHARDONNAY

This light and luscious white wine is a perfect alternative to a Pinot Grigio and tastes perfect with fish or fowl. Add fruit and create your own refreshing drink to cool those warm summer nights.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This hearty medium bodied red table wine compliments any Italian style meal. Perfect for enjoying during the winter, the Cabernet is Loughlin's“ Pride of the vineyard”.

MERLOT

Loughlin's Merlot is the best seller when it comes to our deep, dark, ruby, red wines. It is a favorite among those who prefer the aroma of a dry red wine with increased tannin. A palette pleaser for the cheese and meat eater.

SOUTH BAY BREEZE

The Blush is a favorite for those preferring the taste of a more fruity Rose stock that is perfect for a beautiful summer day. South Bay Breeze is a light blend of Loughlin's Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Riesling.

DIRECTIONS

 

From the east or west of Long Island, go south on Lakeland Ave off Sunrise Highway, towards Sayville. Lakeland Ave will eventually turn into Railroad Ave.

Take that further south toward Main Street and the center of town. Turn left at the light and stay to your immediate right and proceed east down South Main Street. Pass one light and continue on east. You will pass St. Ann’s Church on your left, and before you go over a small bridge there will be a  white sign on your left and winetasting sign on your right.

Turn left and proceed down the dirt road bearing to the right of Meadow Croft Estate. Travel a short distance and your journey will end at Long Island's best kept secret.
